Miami
For a number of years now, Szczesny has regularly spent time in Miami. He is attracted, not least, by the city’s unique mix of South-American, Cuban and Caribbean cultures. That the city has also become the United States’ second most important centre for contemporary art adds to its appeal. The Art Basel Miami, in which Szczesny has participated in the past, is only one example.
