Mr. Szczesny made the first overpaintings of his photographs in 1985. Since then the dialogue between the media grew continuously and forms an formidable example of his work. The overpaintings of Mr. Stefan Szczesny are the results of his varied art works with various media. He photographs motives which he finds and then combines the photo later on with his painting. The outcome is an oeuvre of expression between the real forms and colours and the fantasy of the artist which completes the photography.
