Wolfgang, Roth & Partners to host cocktail reception for The Frost Art Museum and The Fisher Island Elementary School
The Biltmore Hotel and Wolfgang Roth & Partners Fine Art is pleased to present “Shadows on the Biltmore” by Stefan Szczesny at the famed Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables. This event will benefit The Patricia & Phillip Frost Art Museum and The Fisher Island Elementary School. In addition, the artist will present the book “Shadows on the Biltmore” and guests will have a walking tour of the sculpture exhibition. The evening will include a silent auction and raffle which will benefit The Fisher Island Elementary and The Patricia & Phillip Frost Art Museum as well as entertainment provided by The New World Symphony.
The silent auction will include Andy Warhol Marilyn Monroe prints from Sunday B Morning Collection and Andy Warhol Campbell Soup prints from Sunday B Morning Collection, Bert Stern vintage color photo of Marilyn Monroe from the Last Sitting, Helmut Newton photos and a year membership to The Frost Art Museum. In addition, the evening will include a raffle where prizes include a weekend at The Biltmore Hotel, a spa at The Standard Hotel on South Beach and various other prizes.
About Stefan Szczesny
Stefan Szczesny is an internationally renowned painter and sculptor who divides his time between St. Tropez, France and Berlin, Germany. Szcezesny’s work is characterized by the inspiration he draws from his natural surroundings. Nature, the earth and shadow all serve to define his artistic vision. The artist is both well-exhibited and well-published.
About The Patricia & Phillip Frost Art Museum at Florida International University
The Frost Art Museum opened its current 46,000-square-foot state of the art building in November, 2008. Over 40,000 people have visited The Museum in its new building since its opening in November, 2008. Admission to The Museum is always free. The Frost is an AAM accredited museum and Smithsonian affiliate and is located at 10975 SW 17thSt across from the Blue garage and adjacent to the Wertheim Performing Arts Center on the Modesto A. Maidique Campus. Hours of operation are Tuesday through Saturday 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Sunday noon-5 p.m. Closed on Mondays and most legal holidays.
