“With an absolute world first, the Monheimer Kulturwerke and visual artist Stefan Szczesny, together with the YOU Foundation and Düsseldorf-based artstar Publishing House, will draw attention to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations (UN) on Sunday, August 22, 2021, on water. 17 sails, refined by Stefan Szczesny, will form on boats of the German Sailing League for a sustainable culture regatta focusing on the urgent issues of our society. Internationally renowned painter and sculptor Stefan Szczesny interpreted the 17 Global Goals on behalf of the #Art4GlobalGoals campaign and will present his works in a very special vernissage on the water.”
